Hello Prakashji, I understand from the Lawyer Firms that for foreigners purchasing a land /house/ business areas is only possible; if the foreigner registers a company (which takes 2 to 4 months - am I right?)under which the property can be purchased. After the registration of the company and within a year you need to invest USD 20 ~ 25 Thousand. Can you please clarify for all the bloggers benefit - the actual procedure to buy property in Nepal for house/business in individual capacity or jointly (Partnership, wherein ONE of the partners is a Nepali)? We are interested in agriculture/non-agriculture land in Bhairahwa/ Lumbini/Butwal/ Hetauda /Birganj/ Birat Nagar/ Pokhara areas. Your site gives focussed info in and around Kathmandau areas, where prices are very high. If you have any info, kindly provide the same, will be too happy. Thanks for making a wonderful website.
